We are all drawn to tell our stories – Facebook, Instagram, snapchat, Tik Tok – we long to let others know who we are and what we think.  Yet these snippets of life do not give us the full picture – they cannot tell us why we are, what really makes us tick, what we really long for and dream of. These momentary glimpses, snapshots of our life are like brief, all too short glimpses which titillate but cannot satisfy.  They are siren songs to our real stories…. The struggles, the heartaches, the not-so-pretty side of the happy, posted snapshots… yet these are the trials that make our stories complete.  These are the moments which give a richness to the learning and the journey.  The whole stories. Good, bad, very often ugly – but true, from the heart and leading us onwards to home.
